Previously supported UNICEFof his illustrious playing career – at Manchester United, Real Madrid and elsewhere – when Goodwill Ambassador Mr Beckham launched the 7 Foundation for UNICEF.
That unique partnership aims to help children around the world – especially girls – break down the barriers caused by bullying, violence, child marriage and dropping out of school that too often rob them of their dreams.
During his time as a Goodwill Ambassador, Beckham traveled to many places to witness UNICEF’s activities. He has raised awareness and raised vital funds for urgent – and often hidden – issues affecting children, including malnutrition, emergencies, child violence and HIV/AIDS.
