Tina Knowles criticizes Candace Owens for misleading information about Beyoncé

Tina Knowles recently pulled out the mother bear’s claws Beyoncé. Knowles especially called for it Candace Owens for repeatedly alleging that Kamala Harris’ campaign paid her daughter for endorsements. Owens and others have claimed that Bey received $10 million for appearing at Harris’s last major election event in Houston, Texas.

Tina Knowles sets the record straight

On November 16, Tina caught wind of Candace Owens’ appeal and shared a few words of her own with the self-proclaimed news anchor. Apparently, Candace read reports about Beyoncé allegedly being paid large sums of money to support Harris days before the election. In response, Knowles shared that Instagram removed Owens’ post about the Beyoncé rumor under the label “fake news.”

“It’s called disinformation. Sadly, other platforms that lack integrity still exist. The lie was that Beyoncé was paid $10 million to speak at a rally in Houston for Vice President Kamala Harris. In fact: Beyoncé didn’t get a dime for speaking at…a presidential candidate’s rally in Houston. In fact, she actually paid for her own flights for her and her team, and was absolutely charming.”

Mama Tina Knowles added that “they” are disrespecting Beyoncé and discrediting VP Harris’s campaign efforts. “When will the lies and rumors stop? Of course, you won’t see this on the news!!!”

John Legend & Oprah also refused to accept money for Harris’ endorsement

John Legend, who also supported Harris throughout her 107-day campaign, jumped into Tina’s comments section. “Let them know, Miss Tina! We all perform/appear for free because we care about the future of our country.”

Most recently, Oprah Winfrey also spoke out about her endorsement. She denied that Harris’ campaign paid her $1 million to support the vice president’s White House bid. She then clarified that her production company, Harpo, was hired to provide the necessary supplies for a livestream event and that the producers were paid. However, she didn’t. “My time and energy is how I support the campaign,” Oprah wrote in the comments section on Instagram.
