Flash floods hit several areas around Barcelona, less than a week after devastating floods in Valencia.
It comes as Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) placed parts of northeastern Catalonia on red alert for torrential rain, with the region’s capital suffering flooding in Monday morning.
Video showed the terminal inside El Prat airport flooded and cars partially submerged on the highway.
