What the discovered Maya city Valeriana might have looked like
A huge Mayan city has been discovered centuries after disappearing under the canopy of the jungle in Mexico.
Archaeologists have found pyramids, sports fields, causeways connecting districts and an amphitheater in the southeastern state of Campeche. People call the complex Valeriana.
No photos of the city exist, so the BBC’s Georgina Rannard shows us a virtual rendition of what the city might have looked like.
