What are you playing this weekend? (October 26)
Ollie Reynolds, Staff Writer
I, like my fellow Nintendo Life team, I’m sure, will be playing a lot of Nintendo’s mysterious NSO game this weekend in the vain hope that something will happen and I’ll figure out how I really am. What the hell to do? However, it is definitely interesting.
I will also play a lot Sonic X Dark Generation to consider. I promise to try to get it out as quickly as possible, but at the same time, I want to make sure I understand the game well before giving my opinion! Wish me luck.

Besides the super secret game, I, like many others, wanted to try something a little spooky. The thing is, I’m a scaredy-cat and hate horror games. I have signal downloaded that I got my hands on last year only to be exhausted after a few minutes. Maybe I’ll be really brave and try again this weekend (or maybe I’ll just see Luigi’s Mansion 3 100th time).
Somewhere else, I started Squire Pluckyand I’m having a really good time with it! Now that I think about it, it’s probably the perfect tonic after a spooky game.

This weekend, I’ll be in a great place GREAT GAME in Austin, Texas (look it up guys)! That means I’ll be playing a bunch of new and/or unusual indie games, like multi-purpose bowl, Dye, Regular June, Terratopia: The Demon King’s Marchand much more!!! If any readers are in Austin, they should come. It will be great. I’m also doing Shoutcasting so you know. That could be a lot of fun!
During the time Arcade wasn’t great, I just finished a game called No cases remain unresolvedit was really amazing and I really wanted to immerse myself afterwards Thank god you are herebecause I’m in Texas and really need to show off that Britishness. Initial.

It would be great to play something spooky. I’ve been keeping an eye on both Aliens: Isolation And Silent Hill: Shattered Memories a whole month, although Isolation is a bit long by all accounts and Shattered Memories requires a Wii setup – I needed something short and sharp. So I finally activated my copy Inside last night, a game I’ve wanted to play for a long time and also a game I plan to finish by the end of the weekend!
Otherwise it’s Playtest and Zelda for me. I think I have one more dungeon, which means I have three more dungeons. Have fun everyone.

October may not be many days away, but I’ve never had much to play on the Switch up to this point. Further progress on BAKERU, slaughterer And Nevada along with a few fun sessions with super XYX and some old-fashioned fighting spirit in Fiery attack. Can’t believe I’m going to skip Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom because Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine IIbut this weekend’s 150% experience bonus event was too good an opportunity to pass up on leveling up my Bulwark and Heavy classes.
My game of the week is Yakuza Kiwami. I understand I’m pretty late to the party, but since SEGA has finally realized that there’s money to be made to bring the series to Switch, I’m happy to do it. Can’t wait for the rest of the series to appear at the end. Life is tough on the streets of Kamurochō, you never know when Majima will be approaching.
That’s what we have planned for the weekend, what about you? Let us know in the following poll which games you plan to launch in the next few days.
