In September, Bandai Namco surprised fans with the announcement Freedom Wars Remastered for Nintendo Switch. It will launch in January 2025 and is a remaster of Japan Studio’s PlayStation Vita exclusive title which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Fans now have their first look at Japanese physical box art for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 (Thank you Gematsu). If we hear anything about a local physical release, we’ll let you know.
When this game comes out January 10, 2025You can expect additional updates and improvements such as “adjusted game balance” and “difficulty options”. There will also be “weapon crafting and upgrading”.
Our friends at Push Square gave the game seven out of ten stars when it first launched on the PlayStation Vita. IGN has also started working on a Switch version and mentioned how it runs at a lower resolution and is limited to 30 FPS.
