According to WESHCarralero has been charged with first-degree murder with a firearm. Additionally, the agency reported that authorities are not looking for additional suspects in the case.
Furthermore, the newspaper noted that Carralero appeared before a judge on Tuesday, October 22. At the hearing, he was reportedly denied bail and was expected to be extradited about Orange County.

According to the source, the shooting occurred around 1:15 p.m. on Monday, October 21. Furthermore, the incident allegedly occurred in the parking lot of a shopping center “on the corner of Southern Avenue Semoran and Lake Underhill Road”.
Authorities reportedly arrived at the scene in response to calls about a medical emergency, per Fox 35 Orlando.
Once there, authorities discovered Rodriguez suffering from a gunshot wound. In addition, police also noticed that Carralero had fled the scene in a car. Later that day, he was allegedly located and arrested in Indian River County.

According to WESHa witness named Lina Reyes spoke to reporters about the incident.
“Now that we know a woman was shot, I don’t know why she was shot or what the reason was,” Reyes explained.
