According to American magazinea new episode of Mowry’s documentary series, ‘Tia Mowry: My Next Act,’ premiered on Friday, October 11. During the episode, Mowry got emotional while wearing her wedding ring.
“I hadn’t worn my wedding ring in two years and it didn’t feel right to sell it,” Mowry said before explaining her plans for the jewelry.
The mother of two revealed that she wanted to change her wedding ring into something for her children.
“Please pass it on because they are my greatest gift,” she added before appearing emotional. “I want to do it because I haven’t worn it yet. It just sat there. It’s very beautiful. If it is made into something else then it will be put to use. This was the symbol of a marriage, and it is no more. I want the kids to have something more.”
In a later clip, Mowry is seen sitting at a jewelry store getting the ring appraised. While there, the actress shared that she decided to turn her wedding ring into “some pretty jewelry” for her children. According to US Magazine, Mowry and Hardrict’s son, Cree, received a necklace, while their daughter, Cairo, received a bracelet.

In a recently published video interview with Entertainment tonightMowry spoke about her current relationship and co-parenting dynamic with Hardrict.
“We’re still a family, and that’s what I want to say,” Mowry initially shared before explaining further. “We’re going to Disneyland together for Halloween. I’m not saying it’s easy… co-parenting – it has its rough spots. But I think we’re doing very well.”
Ultimately, Mowry explained that her children are successfully overcoming their parents’ separation.
