John Amosone of the stars of ‘Good Times’, has passed away at the age of 84.

According to Hollywood ReporterSon of Amos, Kelly Christopher Amosrevealed his passing in a statement shared on Tuesday, October 1.
“I share with you my sincere sadness that my father has transitioned,” KC explained. “He was a man with the kindest heart and a heart of gold… and he was loved by the whole world. Many fans consider him their television father. He lived a good life. His legacy will live on in his outstanding work on television and film as an actor….”

“My father loved being an actor all his life… most recently in the movie ‘Suits LA’ playing himself and our documentary about his life journey as an actor,’ America’s Dad’. He is my dad, my best friend and my hero,” he added. “Thank you for your prayers and support at this time.”
Finally, KC shared that his father “transitioned” on August 21 while in Los Angeles, California. John is believed to have passed away of natural causes.
