Logitech makes some of my favorite keyboards, and the G Pro X TKL (or “tenkeyless,” meaning it lacks a Numpad) is one of the best gaming keyboards around. It features brilliant RGB LED-backlit keys and a choice of clicky, tactile, or linear switches, and uses Logitech’s Lightspeed wireless adapter for competitive gaming-level response times. . I like that the adapter lets you pair multiple devices to a single, low-profile USB dongle, so you don’t have to use all the ports for your various accessories.
The build quality of this keyboard is very sleek and stylish. It’s minimalist and doesn’t take up much space on your desk, and it has a subtle metal trim around the edge that gives it a bit of sophistication that most simple keyboards lack. The volume wheel on the top right is smooth and easy to reach, and along the top are handy media controls so you can pause the music when you finally get into the game after a while long waiting line. For my taste, the more clicky the keyboard, the better, and the black Clicky switches have served me well. Each key press felt like I was sending a tiny bolt of lightning down on my game. However, if you prefer something softer, you can choose another type of switch. The only thing I don’t like is the lack of Numpad—yes, I’m one of those weirdos who would rather have a Numpad. But for most people, this is the keyboard to beat.

It keeps the volume wheel, game mode switch, and Bluetooth/Lightspeed buttons by moving them to the edges of the keyboard, while slimming the whole thing down to 60 percent layout.
