Recently, former professional skateboarder Tony Hawk confirmed that he “talk to Activision again” in reference to his popular video game franchise. While we can confidently assume this means future entries are likely in the works, we now have further confirmation from Birdman himself via Instagram (Thank, VGC).
Posted in the last 24 hours at the time of writing, Hawk celebrated the 25th anniversary of the original’s release Tony Hawk’s professional skaterwas released on September 29, 1999 for the PS1, with the N64 version following shortly after. He ended the post with a tantalizing tease about a potential new game, saying “I’m not allowed to tease anything else about the future of the series; but there will be a future” .
