UN General Assembly President urges nations to maintain momentum from Future Summit
Speaking at the closing session of the Summit after adoption of landmark Treaty for the Future On Sunday, Philémon Yang, President of the 79th session of the General Assembly, expressed hope that the ideas exchanged would inspire further initiatives at the national, regional and global levels.
“When we close Summit of the Future, I call on all Member States to continue to promote decisive action and make meaningful progress.“, he said.
