Light the Lighthouse! ‘Tales Of The Shire’ Is Coming Cozy to Switch in March 2025
After being slapped with a delay Earlier this month, Private Division and Wētā Workshop joined today Hobbit Day Display to reveal that Tales of the Shire: The Lord of the Rings Game will come on Switch on March 25, 2025 (According to official history, this is the day Frodo and Samwise destroyed the One Ring of Power — as you know).
Today’s showcase offers an in-depth look at the game, looking at all the cool aspects the developers added, the inspiration they took from Tolkien’s work, and the Hobbit-esque stories you’ll encounter throughout your playthrough.
The life simulation genre is pretty rich on the Switch, but the Middle-earth vibe has us excited to see more from this one. Decorating houses, building towns, and fishing might not be anything new, though there’s no denying that the Shire brings a whole new level of coziness to it all.
