Take a Closer Look at Yakuza Kiwami on Switch in New ‘Play It Together’ Trailer


After appearing unexpectedly at Last month’s direct partnersSEGA today revealed more insight into Yakuza Kiwami on Switch in the brand new ‘Play it Together!’ trailer.

It’s been nearly 20 years since the first game in the series came out on PS2 (of which Kiwami is a remake), and this new trailer speaks to the cross-generational appeal of walking around Kamurocho, beating up any thugs who look at you strangely. We won’t give any spoilers. Like a dragon The game is classified as “family-friendly,” but the trailer is still worth watching.

For those who missed the initial announcement, Yakuza Kiwami is coming to Switch October 24. This is an older remake that launched on PS4 in 2016, but this will be the first time the series has appeared on Nintendo’s console, so we’re hoping there will be more versions in the future.
