An incident report from the Atlanta Police Department has revealed new details about the death of Rich Homie Quan.

Here’s what the crash report allegedly reveals about Rich Homie Quan’s death
According to the incident report, Quan – real name is Lamar Dequantes — was originally discovered lying on the kitchen floor of his home by his brother, Andre Munford, around 3 a.m. on September 5.
Munford believed that Lamar had “fallen asleep.” However, he found it “very unusual” because Lamar “had food in his mouth.” Munford then picked Lamar up and “laid him on the sofa.”
Around 6:45 a.m., Lamar’s girlfriend, Amber Williams, woke up to find Lamar “asleep on the couch.”
“When she returned from dropping the children off at school, she found him still sleeping,” the report reads. “She then went into the bedroom and fell asleep.”
Around 11:00 a.m., Williams awoke and found Lamar’s body “cold” so he called 911. A responding officer noted that Lamar “appeared to be unconscious, not conscious, or not breathing.”
Lamar was eventually transported to Grady Hospital and pronounced dead.
Has the rapper’s autopsy report been released?
According to 11AliveAn autopsy was completed on the rapper’s body on Friday, September 6. However, the results “will not be released until further testing is completed.” Additionally, the Atlanta Police Department’s incident report lists the incident as “FATAL – NO CRIMINAL.”
However, Fulton County medical examiner’s report confirmed that the rapper’s cause of death is still “pending results” while Lamar’s manner of death is still “pending investigation”.
What has happened since Rich Homie Quan passed away?
Since Lamar’s death, many celebrities have spoken out and shared tributes honoring his life and musical career. Shade room As previously reported, Quavo, an early collaborator of Lamar’s, shared a photo of them in the studio with the late rapper Takeoff, now-incarcerated rapper Young Thug, and Offset.

Lamar’s departure seems to have prompted Quavo to reach out to Offset and seemingly want to mend their relationship. Shade roomThe couple rose to fame after reports emerged that they were physically aggressive towards each other at the 2023 BET Awards.

“Fun chat with my brother,” Quavo wrote on Instagram afterward, tagging Offset’s account.
Last week, Offset even shared a message to Lamar’s family and loved ones while appearing at a Billboard awards event.

Meanwhile, Lamar’s father, Coreyand his girlfriend, Amber, have also broken their silence on the 33-year-old’s sudden passing.
