Meta AR Filters: Why Were They Removed?

Meta didn’t provide a specific reason, but the company said the decision was part of a “larger effort to prioritize products” that it believes best meet users’ needs. When will Meta shut down the Spark AR filter?

Meta notes in it blog post that support for third-party content and tools on Spark will end on January 14, 2025. However, if you have used any third-party filters to create content on the Meta platform in the past, that content will not be affected by this change and will continue to be maintained.
