“Vibrate”

“This is my most famous song and I wrote it with some of my best friends, slander. This song really helped launch both of our careers and became the name of our record label. In live shows, this is always a special moment. I usually play until the end of the movie, and it’s a happy moment when I tell people to grab their best friends, hug them, and enjoy the moment as much as possible. Viber is always very high for this. “

“Street”

“For a few years when I moved to LA, I just hustled and wrote new music every day. Somehow, Skrillex got the song before it was even released and played during his 2014 Ultra main stage performance. It’s the only song he plays that no one knows what it is. The result was the hype surrounding the song that really helped it explode and was another instrumental song that got my career off to a good start. This song shows the heavier side of NHTMRE. “

“Fear and Love”

“I am a fan of melodious music. Even when I write my heavy tunes, I try to keep an element of the melody to give it a little more musical integrity. Fear and Love are two separate songs that come from the same idea of chord development. One is extremely dark and heavy, the other beautiful and melodious. I feel these songs are a great representation of my style.”

“Lost My Mind (NGHTMRE Remix)”

“This is a remix I made for good friends Dillon Francis and Alison Wonderland. I’ve done a lot of remixes but this one always goes crazy on my live show every time. The fun melodic chords I wrote during the breaks keep the energy high even during the slower parts of the song. I really like the way this movie plays out, and I’ve even seen Alison and Dillon play in their own set before.

“Feelin ‘Gud”

“This is the next tune for me and Slander that I point KNEW will do so well. I had the idea for this song years ago when I sat down to actually write the idea. It really feels like the perfect follow-up to Gud Virill,’ and our fans have reacted incredibly well to it. This song has been gaining traction since it was released. Matthew Santos is also the lead vocalist of one of my favorite songs ever, “Lupe Fiasco – Superstar,” so it was great to have his voice on the record. “

“Redlight VIP”

“I grew up in North Carolina and listened to hip hop music. A$AP Ferg has always been one of my favorites. I’m still a little nervous that I got a great opportunity to work with him on this song. Here’s another one that’s actually OFF in my live shows. I think it’s really hard to blend hip hop and EDM elegantly, and I feel this is my best work in that regard. “

“Only one man”

To balance it all out, here’s a melodious song from a new album that I wrote with my brother Klaxx. Klaxx attended Icon Collective, the music production school in LA that I also attended. We’ve linked up with a few different songs lately, but this one just hits hard while being uplifting and fun. The vocals have a bit of nostalgia and a euphoric vibe, which goes perfectly with my albums and discs. Big thanks to AJ, aka Klaxx!! “
