Sheriff Todd Garrison released a statement and said, “This is an unfortunate example of the importance of gun safety.” Mr Garrison said that while “it looks like everyone will be fine”, the incident “could have been much worse, not only for the grandmother but for the child as well.”
He concluded by saying, “Let’s take the appropriate measures to make sure children can’t have access to guns.”
