Dave Grohl clearly has musical talent in his blood because he’s the founder of the band Foo Fighters and drummer for the legendary rock group Nirvana. The 53-year-old superstar has collected countless accolades over the years – including being called one of the most influential rock musicians of the past 20 years. Classic rock drummer same author Ken Micallef, – but perhaps one of his biggest accomplishments is in his hometown: welcoming 3 kids with a wife of over 20 years, producer/director Jordyn Blum.

“I used to tour nine months of the year, now I don’t like being away from my kids for more than 12 days,” he told Time, referring to his girls. Violet16, Harper13 and Ophelia, 8. “It has changed everything that I do. When you have children, you see life through different eyes. You feel the love deeper and maybe a little more compassionate.”

Dave and Jordyn welcome Violet Maye Grohl on April 15, 2006 in Los Angeles, every IMDB. It was not until 12 years later that Violet showed the world her natural singing talent.

Her first public performance was a cover of Adele.

Back in 2018, Violet collaborated with her father on the cover of By Adele “When We Were Young” for a benefit concert for UCSF Children’s Benioff Hospital, Weekly entertainment. The British, Grammy-winning singer is a difficult actor to imitate, but teenage Violet wowed audiences with her incredible performance and control.

Violet rocked the stage at Lollapalooza.

Most recently in August, Violet took up the lead vocals in a part of Foo Fighters set in Lollapaloozaevery Weekly entertainment. In January 2020, at The Art of Elysium’s annual Heaven Gala charity show, Violet sing along with her father and the rest of the members of Nirvana, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear, based on NME.

She brought Amy Winehouse to celebrate Hannukah.

The prodigy’s singing of the late Amy Winehouse’s song “Take the Box” was featured in one of her videos. father rock icon for its second annual Hanukkah Sessions series, celebrating the Festival of Lights with covers by Jewish artists. Backed by a full band – with her dad playing the drums – Violet joined the party with her awesome version of Amy’s first album.

Violet showed her respect by singing at the Taylor Hawkins Tribute concert.

More recently, Violet has lent her soothing melodies to tribute concert for Dave’s late friend Taylor Hawkins. After introducing his own band, Alain Johannes, Jason Falkner and Chris ChaneyDave welcomes Violet to the mic, calling her “the only person I know who can actually sing a Jeff Buckley song,” according to the outlet. After that, Violet wowed the audience when she performed Jeff’s songs “Last Goodbye” and “Grace”.
