The first iteration features one-of-a-kind pieces from four visionary women in fashion. Gigi Burris designs warm-weather accessories like straw hats and patterned headbands; Vargas opted for bold prints, crafting a dress, top and shorts in the same lilac silk print. Knitwear-loving Lingua Franca created a navy blue cashmere sweater that features three of Hampden’s core brand values: “Humble, Hungry, Smart”. Celebrity favorite Johnson has launched a sophisticated chic summer dress, available in rich orchid or vibrant multicolored floral print.

“My hope is that these exceptional pieces become your wardrobe staples,” says Hampden founder and CEO. Stacy Smallwood said in a press release. “It’s been a privilege to be able to support and collaborate with other female entrepreneurs. That’s what drives me.”

Smallwood began his fashion career in the Neiman Marcus buyout show. Her first position was as a purchasing assistant, and she eventually rose to the position of department manager in the flagship store. Then, in February 2007, Smallwood went out on its own to open Hampden.

Today, it’s a store in Charleston, South Carolina, measuring nearly 10,000 square feet and filled with expertly curated designer items from ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, and accessories. Each season, Smallwood travels the world exploring and finding new pieces that inspire her, hand-picking each item on display in the store.

Similarly, these upcoming product sales will coincide with Hampden’s 15th anniversary. “Hampden is truly a labor of love, and I can’t wait for you all to see what we have planned to celebrate this special milestone,” Smallwood said. “I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to kick off our 15th anniversary with four incredible exclusive designers from established female brands.”
