Former royal chef Darren McGrady has revealed that the queen used to have her first drink before lunch. The drink is made up of gin and Dubonnet with a slice of lemon and lots of ice. At lunch, the queen usually has a piece of chocolate and a glass of wine after eating. The Queen also used to drink dry gin martinis and this secret was revealed by her cousin Margaret Rhodes.

And finally, the queen had her last drink of the day, a glass of champagne before going to bed. These four drinks are just what we can call a classy and luxurious royal concoction!

Not only that, but the monarch also has a favorite cake made for her by the chefs of Buckingham Palace. She had a slice of chocolate chip cookie every day and in the end, even if there was a little left at the end, the queen used to have it. She even has a senior chef with her when she travels so she can have her favorite snack of the day.
