When Our RPS Advent Calendar With the countdown to the release date of our favorite game of the year, another adventure calendar has brought a lot more magic. The low-fi indie developers of the Haunted PS1 community have another Madvent Calendar this year, offering 24 other mini horror games and oddities released daily. So far, these have ranged from an extreme snowboard killing game to a fun little online social network where you leave messages for others by decorating trees and plaques in sunny yard. A lovely thing, and free!
Madvent Calendar 3: Necrosis is available for free from Itch.io. Every day before Christmas it opens a new game. Every day, a new surprise.
Will today bring a first person shooter with terrible meat monsters in a snowy forest? Or a series of surreal nightmares? Or a spooky walking simulator? Or a snowboarding game that looks like SSX until you pull out your machete and start taking down other skiers? Or a turn-based combat RPG? Or… While the Madvent Calendar is an active adventure calendar, it’s also good to think of it as a big Quality Street bath. It has a variety that you probably won’t like everything, but you’ll be pleased with the experience and really get to know some.
One of my favorite games is the game about trying to escape buildings by finding weak spots to rip through walls of reality like wrapping paper, while dodging a horrible static entity. . It has a very beautiful moment with fragile jewels scattered on the ground.
And since the Haunted PS1 is so good, the whole thing is wrapped up in a pleasant launcher.
While you can now join and play for the first 21 days (sorry, I should have posted this earlier), I recommend you to adjust the pace yourself. Spread. Enjoy variety and surprises. Don’t burn it. Hey, you can even go back and play firstly and Monday Madvent calendar throughout January and February. A little joy and fear while the light creeps back in. Wishing everyone a happy Summer Solstice!
