2023 RE Continental GT 650 with alloy wheels, LED headlights India launch price Rs 3.19 lakh

The Continental GT 650 was an impressive motorcycle when it first debuted in 2017 and has remained a great value for money package throughout the years. But in recent times, the lack of any major updates means the car has aged, even being surpassed by RE’s more affordable single-cylinder models in terms of features and performance. attention to every detail.

Now, this 2023 update gives the GT a much-needed push and updates it. It replaces the halogen reflector headlights with LEDs from super meteorite 650, while also borrowing new switch designs from bikes like the Super Meteor. And finally, the most requested update also arrives on the GT, in the form of alloy wheels. However, the alloy is only offered on two of the six color options (many of which are new for 2023) – Apex Gray and Blue. Even Royal Enfield’s MiY configurator doesn’t let you equip the alloy on any of the other color options.
The dimensions remain the same – 18 inches at the ends – but the wheels are now wrapped in new Vredestein tires, as opposed to the previous Ceats. The last new feature is the addition of a USB charging port on the left handlebar.

Aside from these changes, all the fundamentals are kept the same, so the 648 cc parallel engine is unaffected and continues to produce 47.5 hp and 52 Nm. The chassis around it is also unchanged, as is the suspension.
The effect of all these changes is a price increase of Rs 14,000 across the entire product line, which seems reasonable. Prices previously ranged from Rs 3.05 to lakh 3.31, and are now between Rs 3.19 and lakh. Interceptor 650 is also expected to be launched in India soon with similar updates.
