2023 MG Hector Facelift exterior leak before launch date
MG is gearing up to launch an upgrade of the Hector, slated for January 5th. The manufacturer has released several teasers of the upcoming SUV. However, now outside of MG The Hector Facelift has been leaked on social media. Hector 2023 will compete with Tata Harrier, Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra Scorpio N and Mahindra XUV700.
Biggest change on Hector facelift is the front grille. It has a new grille that is much larger and has chrome inserts. This should help improve the SUV’s road presence as Hector now looks more imposing. There are also glossy black details surrounding the grille as well as the headlights. There’s also a new slide with chrome inserts.

The rear of the Hector 2023 is not significantly updated. It has a chrome strip below the taillights that extends the entire width of the SUV. The new rear bumper looks better than the current one. The SUV’s name is now spelled out on the back door instead of a badge. In terms of size, there won’t be any changes.
The interior will be updated with a new 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system that will be positioned vertically. It will be updated with a new user interface and i-Smart technology. Furthermore, the instrument cluster can also be updated with new graphics. The dashboard design will also be revised to look more modern.
The 2023 Hector is expected to also come with ADAS or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. So there might be features like blind-spot detection, adaptive cruise control, stop-and-go traffic assist, rear cross-traffic detection, lane departure warning, lane keep assist and forward collision warning.
