2 Americans are among the dead : NPR

The US Embassy in Seoul has confirmed that at least two US citizens were among those killed in the deadly crowd in the South Korean capital on Saturday night.
“I am deeply saddened by the loss of so many lives last night, including two young Americans who were celebrating with their Korean friends and others from around the world,” US Ambassador to South Korea Philip Goldberg said in a statement.
Authorities say more than 150 people have died and 133 were injured, many of them young people celebrating Halloween.
As of 9 p.m. Sunday local time, officials said at least 26 foreign nationals had been killed in the incident in the Itaewon neighborhood, according to local media reports.
The US Embassy in Seoul is working with local authorities and consular assistance for any US citizens affected by the incident in the Itaewon neighborhood of Seoul, a spokesperson told NPR.
The popular district in Seoul is hosting a Halloween festival that attracts around 100,000 people as the crowds begin. Many people are trying to gather in a narrow alley filled with bars and restaurants, according to local media.
In response to the tragedy, Korean Prime Minister Han Duck-soo Public mourning time lasts until midnight on 5 November.
