After a break from earlier this month, Hamster and SNK are back with another fighting game in their ACA NeoGeo series on mobile. This week’s new ACA NeoGeo release from SNK and Hamster is the 1996-released fighting game Kizuna Encounter ($3.99) which follows Ragnagard on iOS and Android worldwide. Read Shaun’s review of Ragnagard here. Kizuna Encounter, unrelated to virtual YouTuber Kizuna Ai, debuted in 1996 and is a fighting game that sees creating a team of two fighters for tag team matches featuring weapons and more. I’ve not played this before, and will let Shaun tell me if it is worth playing on mobile. A screenshot from the Android version of Kizuna Encounter is below:
You can buy Kizuna Encounter ACA NeoGeo on the App Store for iOS here and on Google Play for Android here. As with prior releases on mobile, this costs half of what it does on consoles at $3.99. If you aren’t sure if this one is for you, I’d recommend going with one of the games Shaun recommended in his best games list. If you’ve not played an SNK re-release from Hamster you can read Shaun’s article here covering the 10 best games in the series on mobile.
