CAIRO, March 19 (UP).—King Farouk today laid the foundation stone for a new hydroelectric project at the Aswan Dam, in upper Egypt. Work scheduled to begin at Aswan soon will be continued at Esna Nag Hamadi and Assiout, where other hydroelectric plants will be built.
