Authorities with the Dominican Republic’s national police force have launched an investigation into the shooting death of a Canadian teenager who was killed in the early morning hours of March 23 in the Puerto Plata province. The victim, a 19-year-old, had been visiting the Caribbean nation on vacation at the time of the fatal incident.
