1 Dead In Massive Fire In Mumbai’s Andheri


The cause of the second-degree fire has yet to be determined.

Mumbai:

One person was killed in a massive fire that broke out at a set in Andheri, Mumbai on Friday. Pictures from the scene showed huge plumes of smoke rising from the building.

The fire, which started with a temporary collapse installed at the Chitrakoot Ground around 16:30 p.m., was extinguished after six hours with the help of eight fire engines, five jetties and other equipment.

Manish Devashi (32), who was injured in the fire, was pronounced dead at the civilian-run Cooper Hospital, according to civilian officials.

The cause of the second-degree fire is still unknown /
