The girls give Brandy and Monica’s classic 1998 single, “The Boy Is Mine,” a timely twist. Sy’rai and Krista have teamed up to recreate the hit song in honor of the highly anticipated ‘Wicked’ movie which opens on Friday, November 22.

Evil! Sy’rai Smith & Krista Campbell reprise ‘The Boy Is Mine’
On Wednesday (November 20), Sy’rai Smith, 22, and Krista Campbell, 20, dropped their own version of ‘The Boy Is Mine’ with a dope video to match. The duo teased their collaboration on Instagram with a few posts before the big reveal.
In the video, Krista takes on Ariana Grande’s role as Glinda from the film ‘Wicked’, while Sy’rai takes on the role of Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, played by Cynthia Erivo in the film. Sy’rai and Krista also appear in a dark setting to match the vibe from Brandy and Monica’s 1998 video. Krista wore a pink dress with feather details on the strap, while Sy’rai transformed into the Wicked Witch of the West with green body paint and a black dress.
