Paris 2024 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony to Feature Lady Gaga, Celine Dion and The Last Supper


To prepare for the performance, “I learned French choreography, putting a modern twist on a French classic,” Gaga wrote. “I worked tirelessly to learn a fun French dance, brushing up on some old skills—I bet you didn’t know I used to dance at a French party in the ’60s on the Lower East Side when I first started! I hope you enjoy the show as much as I do. And to everyone in France, thank you so much for welcoming me to your country to sing in your honor—it’s a gift I’ll never forget!”

What followed was a spectacle that was probably even more amazing to watch live than on TV, if you will. with Durationreview of. Nakamura, singing her hit song “Djadja,” marched from the famous French school, Académie Française. In a show on the waterscenes from Western history, including (to the horror of some on the right) a clear re-enactment of the Last Supper, was held. A beheaded Marie Antoinette sing along to the French Revolution song “Ah! Ça Ira.”

Oh, and athletes from participating countries came by boat, following the Olympic torch lighting ceremony by judo champions Teddy Riner and the star follows Marie-José Pérec.
