The Amazon Echo Hub is a new smart home controller that brings a new experience to enthusiasts, especially those interested in the Alexa ecosystem. Unlike the Echo Show, the Echo Hub lets you customize the widgets and everything that appears on your device, making it easy to control smart lights, Ring security systems, smart plugs, and more.

Also, unlike the Echo Show, the Echo Hub doesn’t have spatial audio speakers, although Alexa does respond when you ask it questions. During setup, the Echo Hub will play music and audio through your preferred speakers in the Alexa app.
Testing the Echo Hub over the past few weeks has proven it to be a great start for a smart home console within the Alexa ecosystem, though it still has some lag when navigating and some bugs that could be ironed out with software updates.
